High Altitude Seats

So now you know why I look forward to sporting events–they’re a great sketching opportunity! We were sitting up against the wall in the end zone this time. Going in, I actually got a little vertigo glancing back at the stairs I had just climbed. Note the tip of the flag hanging (I think from the ceiling) on the upper right. But we had a great time with family and friends nevertheless!
They have this floating car/balloon thing that they steer around by remote control above the audience, although it was below us. It is on the right making a turn.

  1. Looks like a fun game to be watching! I was wondering what kind of Zen mode were you in to be able to concentrate and work on your sketch in the roar of the crowd =) love the sketch!

  2. Great perspective up in those nose bleed seats. Looks like fun.

  3. wow – what a sight that all must be. What is the floating car for – is it to do with TV or filming? You have really captured the excitment of the crowd.

  4. Thanks folks!
Alex–It wasn’t too hard to concentrate because we were up against the wall so the noise was all in front of us. That somehow helped.
Marancat–I don’t know what the car is for–I think it is just entertainment. They bring it out at halftime.
