Jamison Park

Last Saturday was a World Wide Sketchcrawl, and we had a pretty good turnout here in Portland. We met and talked for awhile then spread out and sketched for a couple of hours then met again to share our sketches. I enjoy seeing the different styles and subjects that people choose to sketch.

  1. I really love these drawings and I get excited to see people doing sketch crawls ^^
You did a fantastic job with those shades of buildings and trees, and the people are just so lively.

  2. Some lovely sketches here – and I like your vase done in shades of grey. #Glad you had a great day.

This sounds so much fun! I haven’t heard about it until now! Gonna educate myself right now…

  6. Looks like you had a wonderful sketchcrawl! Great drawings!

  7. Lovely botanical drawings! I’m constantly amazed at natures beauty as well. Horse training allowed me to be “out in nature” for most of my adult life.
Thanks for you comment on EDM# 259, I’ve been meaning to do 100 dogs, but there’s the cats right on the foot of the bed, one on my lap right now!
    Continued success!

  8. Sounds like a grand time and your sketches are so well done.

  9. Great drawings and I like the way you just add a touch of colour. It looks like you had a great day. I like the first one of the park.

  13. These are fantastic sketches! I especially like the top one, the trees are beautifully articulated and the parent and child are so touchingly sweet.

  14. Lovely sketches. You have such a wonderful ability here. Thanks for sharing with us.

  15. Lucky you, going on a sketchcrawl! And you’ve done lovely sketches. I love the bottom one the most, with the buildings, although the park one is quite lovely too.
