The cello was fun to sketch but those fingers! I held the cello, tried to remember how to position my hand correctly, looked in the mirror, then sketched. I always have trouble with hands and this was no exception–but the practice is good for me, right? It’s kind of like eating my spinach. (Good thing I like spinach.) Now I am on to the next challenge.
In case you are wondering, I took cello lessons for awhile but am taking an extended break right now. I think the cello likes having some peace and quiet after the rough time it had in my hands.

Beautiful earth tones in the cello. You are the first I’ve seen with an ‘actual’ musical instrument.
