This is done with my Lami Safari pen loaded with Noodler’s Lexington Gray ink in my Moleskine watercolor sketchbook. I just ordered a couple of those fountain pens that Noodler’s just came out with and can’t wait until they arrive so I can give them a test run. I hear they give a nice variable line width and are a lot of fun to use.

This is the view from the coffee shop where we sat drinking coffee, reading and sketching on Sunday afternoon. What a luxury to be warm and dry, yet have such a lovely view into the park. This coffee shop has to become a regular!
A lovely sketch! I can feel the cold outside… And beautiful detail that men with his dog!!!
Hugs!
Awesome sketch! =) I really like the style
Thank you for your kind remarks, Elena and Alex! I appreciate your visit here.
Wow! Sketching with ink is so brave. This is a warm and welcoming scene. Congratulations!
Hey, thanks Melanie! Sometimes I do just go for it in ink, but on this one I drew in a few preliminary guidelines in pencil first, then went to the ink. I hope all is well with you!
Wonderful drawing!
Wow! What a wonderful view and I love the composition! The lexington gray ink had me thinking this was in pencil! I really must get me some of that, and the noodler’s fountain pen!
Thanks, Ann and Raena, I think the gray ink is more nanced than the black. I found out about it from Nina Johansson at http://www.ninajohansson.se .
